Fun with sculptures in Colorado Springs!

I always take photos of my knitting projects. Three years ago after finishing a scarf for Colleen, we went downtown to Colorado Springs to shoot photos and walk. I parked in the usual block on Cascade Ave next to this sculpture. It's called"The Best Week of our Life" by David Spellerberg, founder of National Heritage Collectors Society in California.

We decided to replace one of the statures with Colleen!

Thinsulate insulated Squiggles Kup Kollar on a pint of beer; Shamrocks Kup Kollar on 16 ounce glass of iced tea.

Yesterday, I told Perry I wanted to use the above photos on my blog but I didn't have any information about the sculpture. We parked in our usual place, wrote down the information from the plaque, then walked to Jack Quinn Irish Alehouse and Pub for dinner. Perry put his cup sleeve on his glass filled with Murphy's Stout; my cup wrap went on my iced tea glass. Both Kup Kollars hold in the cold!
