Star Wars – ice cube molds and wraps for cocktails

I gave Sean two Star Wars ice cube molds because he’s a longtime fan of the movie series. After seeing the “Star Wars and the Power of Costume” exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, I borrowed his molds for my blog posts.

It was easy to remove cubes from the orange mold, but the blue mold was a bit tricky. After opening the mold, I used a dull dinner knife to gently separate it from the cube at the edges. Also, I only filled the bottom half of the mold so the ice wouldn’t expand too much.

The Millenium Falcon ships kept a gin and tonic cold. The Death Star was perfect for a bourbon and water.

To keep cocktails colder, longer, slip a Kream Kollar onto the glass. Your drink won’t leave puddles at the surface you place it on!
