The Broadmoor Hotel 2014 in Colorado Springs in December

In December we love visiting the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs to see the beautiful holiday decorations. Shortly after Thanksgiving Day, the Broadmoor begins decorating with thousands of LED lights.

We saw several very tall pine trees on the grounds. It was a crisp clear night for a walk around the lake. Our scarves and mittens kept us warm.

Lights were twinkling on the trees around the Broadmoor’s unique shops. It looked like a fairyland!

The colorful lobbies were filled with huge decorated trees, wreaths, knickknacks, and candles.
